Abstract

This research aims to show the role of Christian religious education for teenagers who are experiencing a process of mental healing from grief based on the 5 Stages of Grief theory. Teenagers need to pay attention to their mental health in healing mental grief by going through stages of grief. However, in reality, Christian teenagers tend to ignore their feelings and end up becoming depressed because they are unable to heal their mental grief. Descriptive qualitative methods are used to collect data, analyze and evaluate through critical thinking from books, journal articles and the Bible related to the discussion. This method divides this research into 2 important points. First, interpret the 5 stages of Grief as a process of healing heartbreak for teenagers. Second, the role of Christian religious education for teenagers who are experiencing a process of mental healing from grief based on the 5 Stages of Grief theory. The result of this research is that collaboration in Christian Religious Education by interpreting the 5 Stages of Grief theory has an important role in maintaining the mental health of teenagers by healing the mental health of those who have experienced grief or broken hearts. The conclusion is to convey a message about the importance of Christian religious education in adolescent mental health by interpreting the 5 Stages of Grief
