JOURNAL HISTORY

Since its establishment, this journal has been committed to becoming a high-quality and nationally competitive scientific publication, with the target of achieving SINTA  accreditation. Continuous improvements in governance, article quality, and editorial management have been systematically implemented to meet national accreditation standards.

2021

In 2021, the journal leadership was entrusted to Sance Mariana Tameon, M.Pd.K., who served as Chief Editor. Under her leadership, the journal strengthened its editorial management system, improved the OJS-based review process, and enhanced article selection standards to meet national accreditation indicators. A strong commitment to content quality and publication timeliness became the primary focus during this period.

2025

In 2025, there was a transition of Chief Editor from Sance Mariana Tameon, M.Pd.K., to Liliya F.K. Wetangterah, Ph.D. This transition occurred because the previous Chief Editor was appointed as Vice Rector II and needed to focus on institutional responsibilities.

Under the new leadership, the journal continued its quality improvement agenda by strengthening the national reviewer network, increasing citation performance, and reinforcing publication ethics standards.

2026

In 2026, another transition of Chief Editor took place from Liliya F.K. Wetangterah, Ph.D., to Dr. Marsi Bombongan Rantesalu, M.Th.

This transition was accompanied by a restructuring of the Editorial and Reviewer Boards as part of a strategic effort to strengthen journal governance. The restructuring included the addition of reviewers based on specific expertise, enhancement of manuscript selection standards, and adjustment of editorial policies to support the achievement of the SINTA 2 accreditation target.

In the same year, the journal’s website appearance was also redesigned to improve professionalism, accessibility, and user experience. The updates included improvements to the interface design, navigation structure, and optimization of the OJS-based article management system.

Overall, the leadership transitions and managerial reforms implemented over the years demonstrate the journal’s strong commitment to improving governance quality, academic reputation, and national competitiveness toward achieving higher accreditation standards.
