AUTHOR GUIDELINES
Ra’ah Journal is an academic journal that focuses on social and religious studies, with particular emphasis on Christian leadership, Pastoral Theology, Missiology, Christian Psychology, and congregational empowerment within contemporary society. The journal accepts both empirical research articles and systematic literature reviews that are relevant, methodologically sound, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge.
1. Originality and Manuscript Status
Submitted manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication in any other journal. Authors bear full responsibility for the originality and content of their articles.
2. Submission Procedure
Articles must be prepared in Microsoft Word format and submitted online through the official e-journal portal. All submissions are processed through the electronic journal system to ensure transparency and traceability in the editorial process.
3. Scope and Academic Relevance
Accepted articles must demonstrate a clear scholarly contribution to the development of social and religious studies, particularly in the areas of Christian leadership and congregational empowerment. Research may employ qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-method approaches, including field research and systematic literature reviews. Manuscripts are expected to present a strong theoretical foundation, a clearly defined methodology, and contextual relevance to contemporary societal dynamics.
4. Review Process
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial screening by the editorial team. Manuscripts that meet the administrative requirements will proceed to a double-blind review process, in which both the authors’ and reviewers’ identities remain confidential to maintain objectivity in evaluation.
5. Editorial Decision and Publication Timeline
The final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of a manuscript is made by the editorial board based on reviewers’ recommendations. The minimum time required for publication is one month. The maximum publication period does not exceed one and a half years, with an average processing time ranging from three to eight months, depending on the review outcomes and the authors’ revisions.
6. Formatting Guidelines
Articles must be prepared in accordance with the official Journal Template provided by Ra’ah Journal.
