PRO-KONTRA IBADAH ONLINE di MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 (CORONA) BERDASARKAN INJIL YOHANES 14:1-3

Abstract

One year has passed since the corona virus (Covid 19) from Wuhan, China, landed in Indonesia. Depok was the first area where people were directly infected with this virus. President Joko Widodo announced the findings of the first case of corona virus infection in Indonesia in Jakarta, Monday 2 March 2020. Since March 2020, the Indonesian people have been worried by the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus in various regions in Indonesia. The COVID-19 pandemic, which has an impact on the emergence of the decision to worship at home, must be responded to with a positive response. Answering the Pros and Cons of Online Worship among church leaders and congregations regarding the decision to worship at home, theologically, worshiping at home does not show the weakness of Christian faith, but instead shows the strength of faith by building concern for others, especially in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic which attacked Indonesia and even the world. Worship at church and at home or online is not a benchmark for communicating with God and to glorify His name. Wherever, whenever, online or offline, God doesn't care about that. What God asks is our sincerity in praising, glorifying and giving thanks before Him.
