Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is the role and strategy of the Regional Pastor to empower the Gospel Messengers and Persons Responsible for Building the Congregation in the Baun Pastoral Area, West Amarasi Class in 1977-1985. The aim of this research is to find out and analyze the roles and strategies created by Regional Pastors to Empower Gospel Messengers and Persons Responsible for Building Congregations in the Baun Pastoral Area, West Amarasi Class in 1977-1985. The method used in this research is a qualitative method, namely seeking information from several informants using the interview method and the results are presented, analyzed and conclusions drawn. From the research results, it was concluded that the roles and strategies created by Regional Pastors to Empower Gospel Messengers and Responsible Persons in Building Congregations in the Baun Pastoral Area, West Amarasi Class in 1977-1985 were 1). Organizing the pastor's ministry to the eyes of the congregation, 2) Carrying out pastoral care to the eyes of the congregation whose assembly has problems, 3). Sacrament services, baptism and communion, ordination of sidi members, confirmation of holy marriage 4, burial of the dead in the eyes of the congregation, 5) coaching the congregation council in the eyes of the congregation, 6) holding study meetings every Friday.
