The puor pose of this is to find out the theological Article Title: Theological Meaning and Values in the Song “Ho Salit Lo Namas Usi” from the Spiritual Music Tradition of poeple of timor. The song “Ho Salit Lo Namas Usi” is an expression of faith among the Timor Dawan people that reflects their theological understanding of divine providence. It portrays the believers’ trust in God’s loving plan, even when it remains beyond human comprehension. The song’s theological values include themes of surrender, trust in God’s will, and hope amid suffering. Additionally, it exemplifies the contextualization of the Gospel within local culture through music and vernacular language. This article employs a descriptive-qualitative approach to analyze how cultural and spiritual elements of the Timor Dawan community enrich the theological insights of local Christian believers.
