The research results refer to the technical theory of organology which includes measuring musical instruments, describing them with sketches or photos, methods or techniques for making and analyzing the sound produced. The conclusion of this research is that traditional Timorese musical instruments are included in the idiophone classification, namely the sound they produce through vibrating strings or strings.
